Since my husband passed 3 years ago I really don’t like to cook just for myself so I started about 6 months after he was gone to go out to a restaurant called CRACKER BARREL that sells food that tastes like homemade and also sells the most unique gift items around. I go around two days a week and now most of the staff know me and I’m able to joke and laugh with them and even have seen pictures of their families. In short, they all seem like “my kids”.
Now Christmas is coming and I would like to get them each something but, of course, I don’t have enough money because there are a lot of them. So I was just wondering what I can get for people who are so kind and make me feel less lonely and get me thru my week? Any suggestions?
I know they are paid and I’m just another customer but they make me feel like family and I thank God for them.
